1. Scope and ownership
This license covers the original Engines of Creation code, artwork, textures,
documentation and other materials in a release that expressly includes this
license (the "EoC Materials"). Engines of Creation retains ownership. Third-party
materials and dependencies retain their own licenses as identified in the release
notices; this license does not replace or restrict those separate grants.

2. Free project use
Engines of Creation grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free
license to download, use, copy and modify the EoC Materials for personal,
educational and commercial projects. You may include the EoC Materials and your
modifications in games, applications, films and other larger creative projects,
distribute those projects, and sell those projects without paying EoC royalties.
You may share source and assets with collaborators working on those projects.
No Studio subscription or revenue-share payment is required for these materials.

3. Standalone packs
You may not sell, sublicense for a fee, or make available through a paid asset
library the EoC Materials as a standalone pack, template, source kit or a modified
version offered principally as a substitute for the original pack. This does not
prevent selling a larger project that incorporates the materials under section 2.
Unmodified copies of a complete pack may be shared free of charge with its license,
credits and notices intact. You may not claim that you created the original EoC
Materials or that EoC endorses your project.

4. Notices and other rights
Retain this license and the included copyright and third-party notices when
redistributing source or a pack. A game's on-screen EoC credit is not required.
No rights to EoC trademarks or third-party intellectual property are granted
beyond the specific material and licenses identified in the release.

5. Current and future releases
The permission granted for a copy obtained under this license does not expire
because EoC later changes the price or terms for new releases. This license
supersedes EoC Studio subscription and royalty requirements only for the EoC
Materials in this expressly licensed release, not for other EoC source editions.

6. Warranty and liability
The EoC Materials are provided "as is", without warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by
applicable law, EoC is not liable for claims, damages or other liability arising
from their use. No support or future updates are promised by this license.
